Communicating basic Biblical Christianity in a relevant way among unreached and marginalized peoples globally
Local to global service among unreached and marginalized peoples...

"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." (Hab. 2:14)
crossing oceans and borders as Christ's ambassadors testifying about Him...
in partnership with like-minded ministries, committed to serving Jesus.
EMC is a non-denominational Christian non-profit, private foundation established in 1982. It's initial work involved domestic FM Christian broadcast stations during the first five years of operation which continued until 2014.
Realizing the lack of ACCESS to the gospel of Jesus Christ, a Bible, or a church among unreached peoples and the marginalized overseas, EMC partnered with other non-profit ministries across the globe to make Jesus known (Rom. 15:20, Rev 5:9)
Since 1988, EMC's global media development, projects and activities have occurred in the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Seychelles, Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Mali, Nigeria, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Guinea (W. Afr.), Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Turkey, Bangladesh and Kyrgystan.
In the 2000's, EMC's primary ministry partners have been the Trauma Healing Institute (THI) of the American Bible Society (since 2014) and Pochalla FM (since 2021), a Christian radio station broadcasting in four local languages from the South Sudan-Ethiopian border.
EMC serves as a media specialist for THI recording and editing audio and video resources on the ground in the local languages of people groups who have been traumatized by war, disasters, and terrorist attacks. These resources are based on the printed series "Healing the Wounds of Trauma".
"Anchored In Hope" (for adults) and "Rise Up" (for youth) are two mobile app and radio productions by THI and are used as a scripture engagement tool to restore lives using God's Word, the Bible. The app is available from Apple and Google. Use the LINKS below.
For Pochalla FM (PFM), EMC serves as a volunteer consultant in the areas of program strategy, broadcast operations and production technique and works closely with the station manager on projects for the poor, rural farming and fishing area of Jonglei State and the Pibor Administrative Area which consists of more than 1,000,000 people. Peace and reconciliation in this troubled and needy area of South Sudan are major program themes broadcast over Pochalla FM. The good news of Jesus Christ is the foundation of PFM's programming.
